General News

Welsh Society of Western Australia -Newsletter. November 2013.

As you know, our Meetings now take place at the Perth and Tattersalls Bowling Club, Plain Street, Perth. We had our last two meetings on the second Monday, but in future -----------
OUR MEETINGS WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE THIRD MONDAY OF EACH MONTH 7.30pm. not the second Monday.

Please make a special note of the new Meeting Dates for the 3rd Monday of each month.

18th November 2013
Bring and Buy (our usual sales fun!)

16th December 2013 Christmas Party

NO MEETING January 2014

17th February 2014     Sausage Sizzle
17th March 2014     To be advised
21st April2014
Annual General Meeting

WHY THE CHANGE OF DATE?

Tattersalls Bowling Club Committee have requested us to meet on the third Monday of the month as members are available to open the Club on that evening. If we continued to meet on the second Monday, it would mean staff being called out for special duty, which would entail a much higher nightly fee for us. We do not want to charge our members a higher fee so we have agreed to move to the third Monday.

We hope this will suit all our members and we do not anticipate any further change to the arrangements for our Monthly Meetings.
