Annual General Meeting - 2016

AGM

7.30pm Wednesday, 20th April 2016

I urge as many members as possible to attend to ensure that we have a Quorum. If we don’t have a Quorum, the meeting will be postponed until Wednesday,May 18 th. If unable to attend, you may give your Proxy vote to someone who will be attending, so that they can vote on your behalf. The Proxy needs to be in writing, naming the person you wish to vote on your behalf. You may do this via email.

As all positions of office holders and the Committee are declared vacant at the AGM, I look forward to receiving nominations for positions as office holders and on the Committee. The current Committee has been in place for at least two years and we would welcome people with enthusiasm and ideas.

I would also welcome ideas for future evnts for the Society from members, Including St David’s Day celebrations, to be discussed at the AGM.

Hugh Bevan
President

Annual General Meeting - 2015

AGM
Hello everyone/shw' mae bawb,

This is just a reminder that we will be holding the AGM during tomorrow night’s Society meeting (15 April). It is important that we have a minimum of 15 members in attendance in order to form a quorum, otherwise it will have to be held in our May meeting. If you are unable to attend, you may use a proxy vote, by asking a member who will be in attendance to vote on your behalf.

We will also be reading the winning entries in the Poetry and Short Story competitions. So come along and support the Welsh Society at this important meeting.

A reminder also to the Welsh Class members – bring your “Welsh Talk” with you!!

Hwyl/ Regards

Annual General Meeting - 2014

AGM

PLEASE READ THIS AS IT IS VERY IMPORTANT

To all past and present members of the Welsh Society of W.A.

The committee is saddened by the loss of membership due to the unavoidable change of meeting night during the alterations being made at the South Perth Bowling Club and then the high cost of membership to return to the same premises.

After several enquiries at other venues, we have booked the Hall at the Noranda Uniting Church to hold our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 16th April this year and invite you to attend to give us your input as to the suitability of making this our permanent place to hold our monthly meetings.

The address is 79 Camboon Street, Noranda and is accessible from the Freeway via Morley Drive and from Reid Highway via Alexandra Drive.

Looking forward to being able to meet up with all our friends again.

All positions of the committee will be open on the night and we look forward to your input as to suitable members to take on the vacant positions.

We also need fresh ideas as to what events could take place on the actual meeting nights.

Thanking you in anticipation,

Bryce Henley,

Secretary
