Sion Williams, son of Owen and Mavis Williams, (Owen was a former President of the Welsh Society of Western Australia), is taking part, as one of the Odd Couple, in the 2019 Mystery Box Rally to raise money for the Cancer Council.

CATHEDRAL SERVICE TO CELEBRATE ST. DAVID

An Evensong service to celebrate St. David will be held at the Anglican St. George's Cathedral, 38 St. George's Tce. Perth, on Sunday 24th February 2019 at 5.00 pm. This replaces the usual Welsh Free Church service normally held on the 4th Sunday of each month.

The next service of the Welsh Free Church will be held at 3.00pm on Sunday 24th March 2019, st Trinity Church 72 St. George's Tce, Perth. Contact Pat on 9364 9342 for further details.

THE WELSH SOCIETY of WA will hold a lunch to celebrate St. David's Day. Members and non-members, who have a love of Wales, are welcome

VENUE: Trophy Room, Western Australian Golf Club, 60 Hayes Ave, Yokine, WA 6060.

DATE & TIME: 23rd February 2019 at 1.30pm.

LUNCH: Buffet. Bar facilities available. Please advise if you have any special dietary requirements.

COST: $40.00 per person for paid -up members, $57.50 for non-members. Drinks not included.

The Welsh Free Church of WA is holding a Christmas Carol Service at 3.00 pm on Sunday 23rd December 2018 at Trinity Church, 72 St Georges Tce, Perth, Western Australia. The service is conducted in English, and Carols sung in Welsh and English. All welcome, free admission with collection/offerings donated to charity. everyone welcome for a cuppa afterwards.

Tour to Wales July 2019

Global Tours is taking a tour from Australia to Wales in July 2019. The 16 day small group tour has an itinerary covering the main highlights, and a few lesser known gems, and is suitable for people of Welsh extraction who have never visited the country, or those wishing to return for a return visit.
