Welsh Carol Service

The Welsh Free Church will hold its annual Carol Service on Sunday 20th December at 3.00 pm, at Trinity Church, 72 St Georges Tce, Perth. Singing and readings will be in Welsh and English. Everybody is welcome, and join us for a cup of tea or coffee afterwards. For further information contact Pat on 9364 9342.

I regret to inform you that Tom Edwards passed away early on the morning of Wednesday 25th November 2015.

Tom moved into Mirrambeena Lodge in Margaret River in recent weeks, to be near his son and his family. Tom had been unwell for some time and I'm told that his family have done a wonderful caring job over this difficult time.

Tom has been a valued member of the Welsh Society and the Welsh Free Church for many years, although he had been unable to attend in recent times due to his illness. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

We send our sympathy to his wife, Margaret, and his family.

Tom's funeral service will be held on Friday 4th December at the Uniting Church Kalamunda, corner of Heath and Brooks St, Kalamunda, at 1.00 pm. Margaret has expressed her wish that people attending the service sing the Welsh Hymns with gusto and plenty of "Hwyl".
